Student Government Holds Cookbook Fundraiser
(Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese)
Over the past few months, members of the Student Government at Cocalico High School have been working in collaboration with a local nonprofit organization, Jan’s Circle of Friends. Jan’s Circle of Friends provides financial support to groups, organizations or agencies that offer or want to implement a mental health care program for children of domestic violence or parental loss. Together, by the ideas and initiative of students, they have collaborated a “Cocalico Community Cookbook” set to be available for purchase throughout the school and community. The Cookbook consists of over 200 recipes collected from students, teachers and families of Jan Roseboro. There is a cost. Once ordered, you will be able to pick up the cookbooks on Friday, May 20, between 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. in the Cocalico High School cafeteria. For more information or for a price, call Ken Wallace at 717-572-5619.
