Christmas “Light” Shines At Ephrata Mennonite
(Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese)
Ephrata Mennonite School presented its annual Christmas program this past week. This year’s show was called “Light.” The light that was needed in the darkened times of the first century came in the form of a baby Jesus, and is the same light we can have today. Fifth and sixth graders performed the drama “Christmas Lighthouse,” telling the story through the eyes of Luke, the physician. Kindergarten and first graders were stars, second graders were shepherds, third and fourth graders were angels, fifth and sixth graders were acting roles, and seventh through twelfth graders provided excellent choral selections. Shown in the photo are several cast members.
