Plans are underway for the 9th Annual Ephrata Chamber of Commerce Ephrata Cup, which will be held on Wednesday, July 22, at 1:00 p.m. (shotgun start) at Hawk Valley Golf Course.
This year’s exciting golf tourney promises to provide both challenging and entertaining golf. The format is comprised of six holes Scramble, six holes Best Shot and six holes Alternate Shot. Golfers will enjoy attempting to get a hole in one and the competition will really heat up as participants strive to get closest to the pin, make the longest and/or straightest drive and more as they vie for the top spots in several exciting contests. Trophies will be awarded to the three top foursomes with the lowest team scores. New this year, the top team will take home a traveling Ephrata Cup trophy (donated by Brown’s Graphic Solutions) that they can display for the year.
Registration begins at 12:00 noon, with lunch provided. Immediately following the afternoon round of golf on the beautifully manicured greens, a delicious prime rib and chicken dinner will be served, along with a presentation of the winners and various prizes to be awarded.
Mark your calendars now and join the Ephrata Area Chamber of Commerce for an afternoon of networking, socializing and just plain fun! Reserve your foursome or individual spot today. Call 717-738-9010.
