T.N.T. (Teens Need Truth) Youth Ministry was started by Ephrata Mennonite Church as a vision of outreach, acceptance and discipleship for the youth of the Ephrata community. One evening in September of 2000, nearly 150 youth appeared in the Ephrata Mennonite Church parking lot after they had been kicked out of the Cloister Shopping Center (a favorite hangout for teens). Rather than asking them to leave, the congregation chose to welcome them by creating a ministry to reach out and minister to these youth. Since then, God has continued to bless the ministry in many ways. T.N.T. has grown to become an independent, 501c3, non-profit organization that works alongside the churches of the Ephrata, Warwick, and Elanco School Districts to reach out to the youth of those communities. The goal of T.N.T. Youth Ministry is to break down the walls of pain and hurt by sharing Christ’s love with the youth through the following activities; weekly activity nights for youth, Bible studies, service projects, concerts, and serving in the local public schools.
Come on out and support the ministry of T.N.T. at this years Benefit Auction. This is a great opportunity for you to help reach out to the hurting and lost youth in our community while enjoying the auction activities. If you have questions or wish to make a donation to the auction, contact Doreen Horning at 717-951-0550.
