Area Churches Touched Lives Recently With Ephrata Project

(Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese)

Volunteers from several local churches have been busy in and around the Ephrata area participating in the Ephrata Project. The local churches are doing a variety of jobs, from yard work to painting, trash cleanup, etc., as an outreach to the local community.

Shown in the photos are members of Hinkletown Mennonite as they create a handicap accessible walkway, paint windows and even help clean up a child’s playhouse. Participating churches included Hinkletown Mennonite, Dove Westgate, Ephrata Church of the Brethren, Mohler Church of the Brethren and Martindale Mennonite. There were 28 requests for help and this project, which is several years strong, has impacted many lives for the better over that time.
