The Friends of the Adamstown Area Library will hold their Annual Spring Book Sale beginning on Wednesday, April 23 with a Early Bird Special from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Admission will be charged on Wednesday night only. The sale resumes on Thursday, April 24 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., Friday, April 25 from 8:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Saturday, April 26 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This year’s sale will take place in the Fellowship Hall of Peace United Church of Christ, 37 East Swartzville Road, just three blocks from the intersection of Routes 272 and 897.

Thousands of used items will be available in all categories, including hardbacks, paperbacks, videos, DVDs, CDs, audio books, collectibles, and quality gift books. The book sale requires a lot of hard work and planning. Friend’s members and volunteers work all year round sorting the thousands of books that are donated for the sale. Donations of books are accepted throughout the year and can be dropped off at the Adamstown Area Library, 3000 North Reading Road, Adamstown, during regular library hours. For further information call 717-484-4626.
