(Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese)

Ephrata High School students who work with Kathy Yocum, Michele Auman and Lorraine Donnelly had an opportunity to learn about several careers. Business owners and professionals shared short presentations about their profession. The students were given an “express” version of the day-to-day responsibilities of the occupation, what qualities, characteristics and education are needed to work in the profession. Occupations represented included roofing and welding, law enforcement, auto mechanics, nursing, plumbing, dog breeding and training. Shown in the photo is a session on dog training.
