Ten students from Cocalico Middle School were chosen to participate in this year’s PMEA Youth Honors Band event, which was held at Biglerville High School. This festival recognizes and features some of the finest musicians from several counties. Top students were chosen from each district to represent their school. Sixth grade students selected to represent Cocalico were (as shown, from left to right): Kayla Brown (trumpet); Breana Ensinger (flute); Emma Fasnacht (percussion); Jilian Musser (trumpet); Cameron Bibbus (clarinet); Becca Steiert (flute); Trenten Mease (oboe); Kaylyn Smoker (clarinet); Anya Rally (flute); and Ashley Martin (tenor sax). This festival is a great honor for these students who spend many hours practicing in preparation for the two-day event.
