Coats For Kids Being Offered At Ephrata Middle School

(Shopping News Photo by Donald Reese)

In response to tough economic times, churches in the Ephrata and Cocalico areas are providing gently used, kid appropriate coats for families in need. The event is planned for Saturday, November 1 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at the Ephrata Middle School cafeteria. Anyone wishing to donate a gently used coat may drop if off at modern cleaners who has offered to clean them for this event.

Shown in the photo, from left to right, with a sample of the available coats, are Katarina Scheck, Emily Groff, Grace McCollom and Carly Snyder. The coats are available to kids in grades kindergarten through twelfth grade, residing in the Ephrata, Cocalico or neighboring school districts.
