Math 24 Competition At Denver Elementary

Cocalico School District held its Math 24 Competition for fourth and fifth graders from each elementary school. Students from each school came together at Denver Elementary to compete against the best from around the district. The following are the top eight winners of the Cocalico District Math 24 Competition. The students that placed 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th will go on to compete at the Lancaster-Lebanon Intermediate Unit 13 Competition. 1st place, Brook Sauder (Adamstown); 2nd place, Lucas Martin (Adamstown); 3rd place, Ally Richwine (Reamstown); 4th place, Katelyn Ebersole (Adamstown); Zach Sherk (Adamstown); Jacob Welsh (Adamstown); Darren Main (Adamstown) and Brad Steiert (Denver). Shown in the photo on the right is 1st place winner Brooke Sauder as she tries to tap the board before the competition.
