Students from the Ephrata High School TV Studio Production class recently attended Millersville University’s National Broadcasting Society’s Student Video Festival. They had previously submitted videos in various categories for judging and also participated in an “On-The-Spot” video competition that took place that day. Placing third out of ten teams in the “On-The-Spot” category were Rachel Weaver and Matt Smith. Ephrata AM, the morning news show that the students prepare each day earned first place honors and was noted for its innovative and creative style. Finally, Seth Bollinger won the award for “Overall Best Video” for an original commercial he created about a fictitious product, the “ipencil.”
