A Day Under The Big Top At Denver Health And Rehab

Residents of the Denver Health and Rehabilitation Center enjoyed their annual family picnic recently. This year they celebrated “Under The Big Top” with the circus coming to Denver. Tents and tables were colorfully arrayed. Clown decorations, along with costumed “staff clowns” set the theme. Events included Jerry Brown and his monkey “Django,” Merilee Weego the Clown from Caring Hospice, games, raffles, door prizes and music with Les Bower and his keyboard. They enjoyed cotton candy and delicious down-home food from their own dietary department. The annual picnic is a much-anticipated family fun event for the residents and staff. The entire Denver Health and Rehabilitation Center team works together to make this annual event a success. Proceeds from this picnic event benefit the Residents Activity Fund.
