The fourth graders at Lititz Christian School celebrated Native American Day recently. Students in Mrs. Hackman’s class prepared for the day by choosing a tribe to research and then gave a presentation in costume. Some of the students made replica bow and arrows, drums, rain sticks, travois, jewelry, Native American homes and other Native American crafts. The students made clay pots, dream catchers, played games and ended the celebrating with a special snack.
