Anne M. Slater (née Canty), age 91 of Wilmington, DE, passed away on July 6, 2022.
Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late William and Marian Canty. Anne graduated from Notre Dame Catholic High School in Moylan and Millersville University with a degree in library science. Following college, Anne worked briefly as a librarian. She was employed by Cigna in later years. Anne enjoyed attending auctions in Lancaster County, collecting quilts and was an avid reader.
Anne was predeceased by her husband David K. Slater; daughter, Elizabeth Miller; as well as a brother, William A Canty.
She is survived by her sister, Marian Kessler; brother, John Canty; as well 7 nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
