Arlene Brubacker Martin, 54, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, February 24, 2025, at her home after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Earl Township, New Holland to Clarence W. and the late Anna S. Martin.
Arlene was a member of Martindale Mennonite Church, Groffdale Conference. Her last two employers were Village Farm Market and New Holland Family Restaurant.
In addition to her father, she is survived by a brother, Walter, husband of Sarah (Hoover) Martin of Penn Yan, NY; five sisters, Frances and Esther both of Ephrata, Laura, wife of Franklin Hoover of New Holland, Grace, wife of Amos R. Horning of Ephrata, Martha, wife of Reuben Newswanger of New Holland; a sister-in-law, Linda Martin, wife of the late Leonard Martin; 18 nieces and nephews; one great-nephew; three step-nieces and nephews; 24 step great-nieces and nephews and one step great-great-nephew.
In addition to her mother, she is preceded in death by a sister, Norma and two infant sisters, Mary and Bertha
A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 pm, at the residence of Reuben Newswanger, 313 Grist Mill Rd., New Holland, PA 17557. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 3, 2025, at 9:30 am, at Martindale Mennonite Church, 905 Martindale Rd., Ephrata, with Bishop Leon Zimmerman officiating. Interment will be held in the adjoining church cemetery.
