Carl Robert “Duke” Leeper, 86, of Ephrata, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at Ephrata Manor.
He was born in Cornwall to the late John and Daisy (Sweeny) Hilda and was the husband of the Janet (Ruhl) Leeper.
Carl worked as a maintenance man for Doneckers. He also worked in the Morgantown Mines for many years before they closed. In his free time, he enjoyed golfing and woodworking. Carl was a Cornwall High School graduate.
Carl is survived by two sons, Timothy, husband of Connie Leeper, Ronald C. Leeper; a brother, Jack Leeper; two grandchildren, Jackie, Chad and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by 11 siblings.
Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
