Evelyn I. ìEvieî Kline, 87, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2025, at UPMC Lititz.

She was born in Fred­ericksburg to the late Marvin and Irene (Miller) Shuey and was the wife of Curtis Kline, with whom she shared 61 years of marriage.

She was a member of Hope United Methodist Church, Ephrata. Evie expressed her love for others through her joy of baking and cooking, not only for her family, but often for others in need. She cherished time outdoors, nurturing her garden and spending time in the mountains.

In addition to her husband, Evie is survived by a daughter, Kelly, wife of Scott Weaver, two granddaughters, Court­ney Weaver, Danika Weaver; two great-grandsons, Owen, Ethan; two sisters, Marilyn Ditzler and Louise Kreiser.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Christine Shuey, and a sister, Arlene Schaeffer.

A viewing will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025, from 1 to 2 PM, at Stradling Funeral Home, 201 Church Avenue, Ephrata, followed by her funeral service at 2 PM. Interment will take place in Memory Gardens Memorial Cemetery.
