Ivan Z. Martin, 93, of Ephrata, passed away on Monday, June 29, 2026, at Lincoln Christian Home.
He was born in Earl Township to the late Daniel and Lena (Zimmerman) Martin and was the husband of the late Irene M. (Newswanger) Martin.
He was a dairy farmer and a member of Meadow Valley Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference).
Ivan is survived by three sons, Vernon, husband of Louella Martin of Ephrata, Ivan Lamar, husband of Nancy Martin of Lancaster, MO, Mark, husband of Lorraine Martin of Lititz; three daughters, Marian, wife of Henry Huber of East Earl, Lorraine, wife of Levi Burkholder of Osage, IA, Ella Mae, wife of Nathan Nolt of Fennimore, WI; 49 grandchildren; 152 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; a sister, Mary Martin and a daughter-in-law, Nora Martin of Ickesburg, PA.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Carl Martin; two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; five brothers and six sisters.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Lincoln Christian Home for their great care and kindness to Ivan.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2026, from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 PM, at Midway Mennonite Reception Center, 210 E Lexington Rd, Lititz. Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 6, 2026, at 9 AM, from Midway Mennonite Reception Center, with further services at 9:30 AM, at Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, 200 Meadow Valley Rd., Ephrata, with Bishop Quinton Wenger officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
