Laura S. Zimmerman, 88, of Ephrata, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at Lincoln Christian Home.
She was born in Ephrata to the late Elmer and Elizabeth (Shirk) Burkholder and was the wife of Adam Zimmerman.
She was a member of Meadow Valley Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference). Laura was a homemaker.
In addition to her husband, Laura is survived by two sisters: Esther, wife of Raymond Martin of Ephrata, and Anna, wife of Jay Paul Wise of Seneca Falls, NY; four sisters-in-law: Vera Martin of Lititz; Edna, wife of David Leon Weiler of Lancaster, MO; Anna Mary, wife of John Horning of Lebanon; and Nancy, wife of Jay Stoltzfus of Lititz; and 51 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five, brothers-in-law: Walter Zimmerman, John David Zimmerman, David S. Martin, Edward Good, and Raymond, husband of the late Sarah Zimmerman.
A viewing will be held on Sunday, June 1, 2025, from 5 to 8 PM, at Midway Reception Center, 210 East Lexington Road, Lititz. Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, 9:30 AM, at Meadow Valley Mennonite Church, 200 Meadow Valley Road, Ephrata, with Bishop Melvin Martin officiating. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
