Lloyd E. “Possum” Lat­shaw, 89, of Reinholds, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.

He was born in Schoeneck, son of the late Calvin and Minnie (Schware) Latshaw and was the husband of the late Edith H. (Hertzog) Latshaw who passed away in 2018. They shared 62 years of marriage.

Lloyd was an avid hunter and Phillies fan. He enjoyed attending public sales, going to Green Dragon, and raising rabbits. He loved his scooter, the Ephrata rail trail, and playing Bingo.
He worked as a brick mason for M.E. Gerhart & Sons and Brightbill Masons and retired after 50 years.
Lloyd is survived by 3 children: Denise, wife of Daniel Moyer of Reinholds; Dale Latshaw, husband of Kim of Ephrata; and Danette, wife of Robert Ludwig, Jr. of Reinholds; 7 grandchildren, Dionne, wife of David Brieck, Desarae, wife of Samuel Romero, Brian Latshaw, husband of Amanda, Jan, husband of Allison Latshaw, Joel Latshaw, husband of Stephanie, Kelsey, wife of Ryon Freeman, Kaitlyn Ludwig, companion of Edward Kollar; 11 great-grandchildren; 3 siblings, Roy, husband of Mary Latshaw of Ephrata, Calvin Latshaw, Jr. of Denver, and Grace Nolt of Reamstown.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by 4 siblings, George Latshaw, Robert Latshaw, Arlene Graybill, and Emma Garner.

A viewing will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 1 to 2 PM at the Roseboro Stradling Funeral Home, 533 Walnut Street, Denver. Funeral services will follow at 2 PM, with Pastor Jan Latshaw officiating. Interment will take place in the Swamp Cemetery.
