Mary S. Auker, 88, of 312 E. Mohler Church Rd., Ephrata, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at Lancaster General Hospital.

She was born in New Holland, PA to the late Levi and Emma (Stauffer) Zimmerman and was the wife of the late Edwin S. Auker. She was an avid lover of flowers and gardening. Her gift of hospitality in making and serving meals was greatly enjoyed by family and friends.

Mary was a member of the Denver Mennonite Church. She is survived by a son, Donald Ray, husband of Angela (Zimmerman) Auker of Lebanon PA; 2 daughters, JoAnne, wife of Merlin Boll of Ephrata PA, Lois Dawn, wife of Mark Myer of Leetonia, OH; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Levi Zimmerman of KY, John, husband of Hettie (Good) Zimmerman of PA; and 5 sisters, Alice, wife of the late Harvey Auker, of MO, Lucy, wife of Clyde Wenger, of MO, Emma, wife of Carmi Horst, of IL, Martha Zimmerman, of PA, and Susie, wife of Levi Horst, of PA.

Mary is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 4 brothers, Eli, husband of the late Sally Zimmerman, Caleb, husband of Mabel Zimmerman, Henry and James; 2 sisters, Eva and Sarah; and a grandson Ryan Boll.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, January 4, from 2 to 5 pm, at the Denver Mennonite Church, 95 Monroe Street, Denver. Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 5, at 10 am, at the church. Interment will take place in the adjoining church cemetery.
