Richard E. Moyer, 74, of Denver, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center.
He was born in Ephrata, son of Helen L. (Sweigart) Moyer and the late Earl R. Moyer and was the husband of Vivian (Shimp) Moyer with whom he shared 53 years of marriage. In addition to his mother and wife, Rich is survived by a daughter, Trisha G. Walsh, and a brother, Daniel Lee Moyer, husband of Denise.
An avid sportsman, Rich loved hunting, fishing, and the great outdoors. He also enjoyed going to the beach with his family, especially Key West and Chincoteague.
Rich was a graduate of Cocalico High School. He worked as a metal fabricator and welder until his retirement in 2014.
A Celebration of Life ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 10:30 am at Trinity United Methodist Church, 420 Main St., Denver, PA 17517.
