Charles “Charlie” H. Becker, Jr., 84, of Ephrata, entered into the loving arms of Jesus on Sunday, February 11, 2024, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital, after suffering a heart attack.

He was born in Talmage to the late Charles H. Sr., and Myrtle Becker.

He attended Grace Point Church of the Nazarene. He worked as a laborer for Case New Holland before his retirement in 1999. Charlie loved going to the mountains and listening to blue grass, country, and gospel music. He enjoyed going to sales, antiquing and collected antique toys.

Charlie is survived by his loving companion of over 18 years, Ruth Wenger; two daughters, Christine Weaver, and Jo Burkholder; three grandchildren; one great-grandson; and two brothers, Donald Becker and Paul Becker.

In addition to his parents, Charlie was preceded in death by a granddaughter and five siblings.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, from 10 to 11 AM at Grace Point Church of the Nazarene, 110 Durlach Road, Ephrata, followed by his funeral service at 11 AM, with Pastor Kevin Griffin and Dr. B.W. Hambrick officiating. Interment will take place in Middle Creek Cemetery.
