Clarence A. Kline, 94, of Mohnton, passed away on Sunday, October 9, 2022, at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital.
He was born in Kutztown to the late Harvey Y. and Lizzie M. (Kutz) Kline and was the husband of the late Catherine A. (Wails) Kline who passed away in 2015.
Clarence was a man of his Lord and an avid churchgoer. He enjoyed tending to his lawn and garden, bird watching, and watching classic western films. In earlier years he enjoyed playing guitar with his siblings.
Clarence had worked for Maier’s Bakery, Reading, for many years prior to his retirement.
Clarence is survived by 3 children: Donna, wife of Kenneth Weber of Reamstown; Larry A. Kline of Myerstown; and Dolly, wife of Ed Horst of McClure; 9 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 21st, from 10:00 to 11:00 am at Mohns Memorial Evangelical Congregational Church, 708 Mohns Hill Road, Reading 19608. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 am, with Pastor Ken Ogden officiating.
