Gregory D. Hartranft, age 73, of Ephrata, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2023. Born in Ephrata, a son of the late Martin and Grace Hartranft. Gregory was the loving husband to Mary Ann (Miller) Hartranft until her passing in 2019.
Gregory worked in production at Redman’s Trailer Sales and as a mechanic at Gerber Products for many years before working at the Auto Auction in Manheim PA until his retirement in 2020. In his free time, Gregory enjoyed outdoor activities like maintaining his yard, hunting, and the occasional beach trip or cruise. He will be remembered for how much he adored being around his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His presence will be deeply missed.
Gregory is survived by a son, Gregory D. Hartranft Jr.; a daughter, Maria Firestone; four grandchildren, Danielle Hartranft, Gregory Hartranft III, Alexis Firestone, Chantel Firestone; two great grandchildren, Eden Yirgalem, Oliver Spencer; and brothers, Barry Hartranft and Martin Hartranft Jr.
A Viewing will be held on Friday., Dec. 8th from 9 to 10 a.m. at Gravenor Sipler Funeral & Cremation Centre, 100 W. Main St., Ephrata, and the Funeral Service will begin at 10 a.m. followed by interment at Bergstrasse Lutheran Cemetery, Ephrata, Pa.
