Martin Emil Schulze, Jr., 75, of Ephrata, passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at his residence.

He was born in Ephrata to the late Martin and Mary (Houck) Schulze and was the husband of the late Elizabeth A. (Kirsch) Schulze, who passed away in 2018.

Martin loved anything to do with the outdoors, from hunting to fishing and simply mowing grass for those who couldn’t do it for themselves. He loved helping others. One of his favorite things was hanging out with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Martin worked as a machinist for Weave Corp. for over 30 years.

He is survived by a daughter, Marcy Schulze; a son, Timothy Schulze; four grandchildren, Trinity Murphy, Tristin Murphy, Cameron Schulze, Danielle Schulze; two great-grandchildren, Lily and Maddy Schulze.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Martin Schulze III.

Inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
