Michael F. Walker, 68, of Stevens, passed away Sunday, August 21, 2022. Born in Bart, PA, Michael was the son of the late Freeman H. & Jean L. (Hilton) Walker and a husband to Frances A. (Tripodi) Walker for 26 years.
Michael was a graduate of Solanco High School, class of 1972. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and worked as a foreman in metal fabrication. He enjoyed golf, playing pool, and bird watching. For many years he volunteered to check the blue bird boxes at Middle Creek. He loved being outdoors and loved watching wildlife. He enjoyed classic rock music. A former off-road biker, he enjoyed motorcycle racing and was a founding member of the Oxford Motorcycle Club. He had a great sense of humor, always had a dad-joke to share, and he was easy to talk to. Most of all, he loved his family.
In addition to his wife, Michael is survived by a daughter, Sara B. Walker (Collin Specht) stationed in Hawaii; a stepdaughter, Jessica Stock of Indiana, Pa; and five grandchildren, Wesley, Owen, Alexis, Bassel and Hugo. Michael was predeceased by two infant sisters, Christine Walker and Barbara Jean Walker.
